Groundwork Engagement Agreement

This agreement sets out how Groundwork works, what each side is responsible for, and the terms of payment. It is between you, the client, and LITM.SYSTEMS, the practice delivering the program. You accept it when you check the box at checkout and complete payment.

1. 1. The program

   Groundwork is a six-week virtual program for small businesses. Within those six weeks, the work covers new branding, a website built or rebuilt, search visibility (SEO) so the right people can find you, and weekly strategy sessions. Deliverables are tailored to one business and are not transferable.

2. 2. What is included

   The fee covers the deliverables above for a single business, the weekly working sessions, and up to two rounds of revision on each deliverable. Anything not described here, including additional websites, brands, integrations, or ongoing work after the program ends, is outside this scope.

3. 3. What you provide

   The outcome depends on your participation. You agree to come ready with your direction set and the decisions about your business made, to supply content, assets, and access promptly when asked, to attend the weekly sessions, and to respond to questions and review requests in a timely way. The program builds on the calls you have made; it does not make the core decisions for you.

4. 4. Revisions and changes of scope

   Each deliverable includes two rounds of revision. Requests beyond those rounds, or requests for work outside the scope in section 2, are quoted and agreed in writing before any further work begins. This keeps the program fair to your time and to the time of everyone delivering it.

5. 5. Schedule and missed sessions

   Groundwork runs on a weekly cadence over six weeks, and momentum is part of the method. Sessions you miss are not carried over, extended, or refunded. If you need to pause, reach out and we will do what we reasonably can, but the program is built to be completed in sequence.

6. 6. Fees

   The fee is a flat one thousand US dollars, due in full at enrollment, processed securely through Stripe. A domain name and web hosting are paid by you, directly to the providers, and are not included in the fee. We will recommend the providers we trust and set them up with you.

7. 7. Refunds

   If the cohort does not run, you receive a full refund. Once the program has begun, the fee is non-refundable, because your place and the time set aside for it are reserved for you and cannot be resold. Non-participation does not entitle you to a refund.

8. 8. Ownership

   Once the fee is paid in full, you own the final deliverables produced for your business. LITM.SYSTEMS retains the right to describe the engagement and show the finished work as part of its portfolio, unless you ask in writing that it not be shown.

9. 9. Confidentiality

   Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only to carry out this engagement.

10. 10. Conduct and ending the engagement

    This is a professional, collaborative relationship and both sides agree to treat each other with respect. LITM.SYSTEMS may end the engagement if conduct is abusive or if repeated non-participation makes the work impossible to deliver. In that case, work already delivered is not refunded.

11. 11. Independent practice

    LITM.SYSTEMS acts as an independent practice, not as your employee or partner. Nothing here creates a partnership or joint venture.

12. 12. Results

    The work is delivered with care and professional judgment. Outcomes that depend on factors outside our control, such as search rankings and market response, are not guaranteed.
